| Radiology (X-Rays) | X-rays are appropriately taken of the area in diagnostic question when necessary. All quality assurance measures are taken to ensure patient safety. |
| Thermography | Dr. Rupolo was one of the early pioneers in thermography using both liquid crystal and electronic telephloriscopic thermography since 1979. Dr. Rupolo is Past-President of the International Thermogrpahic Society and has taught thermography in the post graduate division of various colleges. Thermography is the use of infrared cameras to diagnose certain hot and cold patterns on the body to determine the severity and chronicity of a condition as well as helping to identify the appropriate treatment plan for the patient. |
| Electromyography (EMG) | Electromyography is performed on the premises at Floral Healthplex under the auspices of Dr. Philip Cilio, who has extensive post graduate training in nerve conduction velocity and electromyography in order to determine severity and chronicity of a neurological condition. Dr. Cilio works closely with Dr. Mazlen in the interpretation and evaluation components of these conditions. |
| Ultrasonography | Ultrasound of the various tissues of the spine is implemented to diagnose such conditions as rotator cuff tears and fluid levels surrounding a damaged nerve. Dr. Cilio is certified in the technical component of ultrasonography and assists Dr. Mazlen with the interpretation and analysis of the studies. Ultrasound is valuable in diagnosing herniations, nerve swellings and fluid levels. Ultrasound has been used for many years in other areas of health care such as ultrasound in the practice of obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, and for gallstones and kidney stones. |
